*Strawberry Syrup Ingredients:
• 2 Cups Strawberries, hulled and quartered
• 1½ Cups Sugar
• 1 Cup Water
• 1 Pinch Salt
Preparation:
Combine strawberries, sugar and salt in a small saucepan and muddle well until the berries have released their juices and the mixture resembles a loose jam. Add the water and stir together over low-medium heat just until the sugar dissolves completely; remove from heat, let cool and then transfer to a jar and allow to infuse in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, strain the mixture, discard solids (or save for toast) and bottle the syrup.
